About Me

Thank you for checking out my page,  I'm Billy or Bill Arnold depending on you ask.  After graduating from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelors in Science degree in Physiology in Neuroscience, I took some time off, lived in Atenas, Costa Rica while teaching English to children between the ages of 4-12.  I lived with an amazing family that I am still in contact with and get to see every so often.  I then continued my dental education at the University of Southern California Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry in Los Angeles, CA.  While there, I found the amazing family, the Dental Humanitarian Outreach Program (DHOP) and was extremely grateful to be one of the few 1st year students to get involved and go on the trip, I joined the board the next year, became president the following and have stayed involved as a faculty member since. After graduating on the Dean's List and earning the USC Sr. Dental Student Award, I completed my research on ankyloglossia (tongue tie) during my 2-year Pediatric Dental residency at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and earned a certificate in Advanced Pediatrics at USC.  I then joined the St. Francis Children’s Hospital in Tulsa, OK where I continued my focus on the growth of the craniofacial respiratory complex.   He is the Chair of the Pediatric Research Committee for the Foundation of Airway Health. 

 

Dr. Bill is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a board member of the Southern California Society of Dentistry for Children, a liaison of the American Academy of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry, the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and an Ambassador of the Breathe Institute.  His proficiency and advanced skill set is in early growth guidance for airway health, tongue and lip ties, behavior management, Hospital Dentistry and working with children with special needs.

 

Dr. Bill’s passion is providing functional oral and airway health by focusing on prevention through positive habits and growth guidance.
